Initial consultation
We review your symptoms, health history and where your energy feels blocked.
Warm the body, restore the flow.
Moxibustion pairs the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine with gentle, penetrating heat. Burning mugwort near acupuncture points warms cold or stagnant areas, moves blood and eases pain - with no needles required. Searching for moxibustion near me? Dr. Tsai has offered it in Hollywood, FL for over two decades.

What it is
Moxa is made from dried mugwort leaves (Artemisia vulgaris). Burned close to the skin, it releases a gentle, penetrating heat that stimulates acupuncture points, improves blood flow and helps move Qi through areas that feel cold, tight or stagnant.
Dr. Tsai applies moxibustion two ways - direct, with a small moxa cone held just above the skin, and indirect, using a moxa stick or combining it with acupuncture needles - choosing whichever suits your pattern and comfort.
Our process
We review your symptoms, health history and where your energy feels blocked.
Pulse and pattern diagnostics identify where cold or stagnation is settling.
Dr. Tsai chooses direct or indirect moxibustion, alone or with acupuncture.
Gentle heat is applied to targeted points - warm, not hot, like sunlight on the skin.
You leave with simple home-care guidance and a plan for your next visit.
Your first visit is about comfort and connection. Most patients describe the heat as soothing, not sharp - closer to warm sunlight than a burn.
Moxibustion is especially suited to patterns of cold, stagnation and low energy.
Benefits
By warming cold, stagnant areas, moxibustion helps the body move blood and energy on its own.
01
Warmth increases local circulation, so pain and stiffness in cold or stagnant areas begin to loosen.
02
As Qi moves more freely, digestion, metabolism and everyday energy tend to steady out.
03
Regulating Yin and Yang supports immune strength, stress relief and reproductive health.
