We review your symptoms, medical history and current care.
Support your kidney and urinary health.
Kidney and urinary problems can affect your daily comfort, energy, and overall health - causing pain, swelling, changes in urination, or discomfort in the lower back and abdomen. Dr. Tsai uses acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine to support the body's balance and reduce discomfort where possible.

What it is
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Kidneys are seen as an important source of energy and vitality - connected with fluid balance, bones, lower back strength, aging, reproductive health, and overall endurance.
Acupuncture uses very thin needles at points selected based on your symptoms, health history and overall condition. Dr. Tsai uses this approach to support kidney and bladder function, ease discomfort, and support the body's own healing response - always alongside, never in place of, appropriate medical care.
Our process
We review your symptoms, medical history and current care.
Pulse and tongue diagnostics assess kidney and bladder energy.
Fine needles placed at points supporting kidney and urinary function.
Guidance on stress reduction, fluid balance and lifestyle habits.
We track your comfort and coordinate with your medical care as needed.
Frequent or painful urination, lower back discomfort, fluid retention, swelling in the legs or feet, fatigue, and kidney stone-related pain are among the concerns patients bring to our clinic.
Kidney disease symptoms can be mild at first - tiredness, swelling, changes in urination, foamy or dark urine, poor appetite, or muscle cramps may appear gradually. Any of these should be evaluated by a physician; acupuncture is offered as supportive, complementary care alongside that medical evaluation.
Acupuncture is used as supportive care, not a treatment for kidney disease itself.
