Our process

How does a pain plan come together?

A pain plan comes together in four steps: consultation and diagnosis, your treatment plan, holistic and integrative care, then support and follow-up. Every plan starts the same way, whichever of the 10 areas brought you in.

How fast will I feel relief?
Acute pain eases within one to three visits. Long-standing or chronic pain needs a longer plan. Dr. Tsai gives you an honest timeline at your consultation.
Can I keep seeing my chiropractor or physical therapist?
Yes. Acupuncture pairs well with chiropractic and physical therapy care, and patients use both together. Tell us what else you are doing so we can time sessions around it.
Is DRX 9000 spinal decompression right for my back pain?
It depends on the diagnosis - DRX 9000 suits disc-related and sciatic pain especially well. Dr. Tsai will tell you plainly whether it fits your case or whether acupuncture alone is the better starting point.
Will you tell me if acupuncture is not the right answer?
Yes. If your pain needs a different kind of care first - imaging, a specialist referral, or urgent attention - we will say so rather than starting a plan that won't help.
